Seth Rogen is talking Pineapple Express.
The 38-year-old actor and comedian made an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.
During his appearance, Seth confirmed that they tried to make a sequel to his 2008 stoner comedy.
“We tried to make one. Thanks to the Sony hack, you can like actually find the email when Sony killed the movie. It was something we were very open to several years ago, but Sony was not that interested in it,” he confirmed.
“Why wouldn’t they jump at the idea of a Pineapple Express 2?” Howard asked.
“I think we probably wanted too much money. Studios, they don’t like giving away money. Weird thing,” Seth said with a laugh.
