John Krasinski has won the heart of his fans with his Some Good News web-series during quarantine and now the show is making the move to television!
Some Good News was licensed by ViacomCBS after a bidding war among the networks, according to THR
Sadly, John will not continue as the host of the show, but he will still have an on-air presence.
CBS All Access, which is being rebranded this summer, will have the first window of the new episodes of Some Good News and then other ViacomCBS networks will get the second window.
“Could not be more excited and proud to be partnering with CBS/Viacom to be able to bring Some Good News to so many more people!” John said in a statement. “From the first episode, our goal was to create a news show dedicated entirely to good news. Never did I expect to be joining the ranks of such a historic news organization as CBS.”
