The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Aboagye says Seventeen(17) infected persons have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Ghana as at April 14, 2020
He made this known when he briefed the Press at the ongoing Press briefing at the Ministry of Information in Accra
He said, “We have 17 persons who have recorded double negatives and are obviously clinically cured”.
He added “currently, we have a definition of recovered as those who are positive and have recorded consecutive negative”.
Dr. Patrick Aboagye however disclosed that there are 66 people who have currently undertaken the first test and that has proven negative and are awaiting the second test in order to confirm whether they can be discharged from the hospital or otherwise.
The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service said currently two of the patients are in a critical condition.
