Election 2020: Akufo-Addo’s style of leadership has reduced Mahama’s margin from 44.4% to 30% – Presidential Staffer

Presidential Staffer , Napaga Tia Sulemana says with the kind of leadership displayed by the President of Ghana it will be difficult for John Dramni Mahama to get 30% of the votes cast in the 2020 elections compared to his 44.4% made in the 2016 polls

President Akufo-Addo yesterday[April 4, 2020] announced some measures put in place as the country fights the deadly coronavirus.

The President announced that there will be a constant supply of water and electricity. To add to this, the government has absorbed payment of water for three months.

He hinted that water tankers for both private and public are being mobilized to provide water for places that do not have supply.

For frontline Health workers, the President mentioned that the government will pay them an allowance of half of their base salary. He also mentioned that there is an insurance of GHC 350,000 for each frontline worker.

Reacting to this, the staffer who has been mute for sometime now in a tweet said “President Akufo-Addo is making governance very attractive, the only thing that can make Mr. John Dramani Mahama get 30% is to find the VACCINE FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC”.

Ghana has recorded 214 cases currently while the death toll still stands at 5.
