Presidential Staffers, Ministers, Chief of staff and Deputy Chiefs of Staff have also joined the President and the Vice President to donate half of their salary for the months of April, May, and June to the fight against the deadly Coronavirus.

According to him, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, has notified the Controller and Accountant General to effect these deductions at source for the period, and transfer the accrued monies into the Fund.
Others who are part of this benevolent act include Secretary to the Cabinet, Presidential Aides at the Presidency.
The President launched the COVID-19 Fund for citizens and other benevolent corporate entities to donate in support of the government’s effort to arrest the deadly Coronavirus.
He also announced an eight board of trustees led by Sophia Akuffo who will handle its reception and disbursement.
