Jane Fonda has avoided being arrested during her continued climate change protest.
The 81-year-old actress and activist took part in her most recent Fire Drill Friday on Friday afternoon (November 8) outside the White House in Washington D.C.
She was joined by Ben and Jerry’s co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield as they joined a group of demonstrators who marched from the U.S. Capitol to the White House.
The group temporarily blocked the northwest gate before ending the protest and eating free ice cream.
Jane has been arrested four times during her peaceful protests to advocate that lawmakers finally act on climate change and pass the Green New Deal.
