Takoradi missing girls: Ruth is not dead someone saw her in Sowtuom – Grandfather insists 1

Yesterday, the IGP declared the missing Takoradi girls dead after a DNA test was conducted on the remains recovered from a septic tank in the residence of one of the suspects, matched the DNA supplied by family members.

Reacting to this devastating news in an interview on Ahotor FM, Emmanuel Abeka grandfather of Ruth Abeka, one of the kidnapped Takoradi girls, has firmly declared that his granddaughter, is alive as opposed to the police’s declaration that she has been killed by a serial killer.

According to him, he had received credible information that Ruth was alive. The information received indicated that Ruth had been sighted in Sowtuom, a suburb of Accra.

This information is in contrast with the IGP’s declaration that DNA test conducted on remains indicated that they belonged to the girls.

Mr Emmanuel Abeka however, insists that the results of the DNA test is false because he was just last called on Friday to be informed that Ruth had been sighted in Sowtuom.

Mr Abeka and other member family members of the missing girls strongly believe that their daughters are still alive as opposed to the official declaration that they had been murdered by a serial killer.

In other news, some families have vowed to visit Antoa a popular diety to place a curse on CID boss Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah for giving them false hopes. Pressure has been mounted on the CID boss to resign but they have fallen on deaf ears.
